Since 2006, Give Kids a Chance Charity has invested over $24.7 million in initiatives that reduce barriers and increase opportunities for youth, creating a lasting impact in communities across Saskatchewan.
In 2022 alone, these efforts assisted over 6,700 youth who participated in KidSport and Dream Brokers supported programming.

KidSport
KidSport believes that no kid should be left on the sidelines and that all youth should have the opportunity to benefit from organized sport. Through participation, youth can stay active, make friends and learn about teamwork, dedication, responsibility and more.

Dream Brokers
Dream Brokers is a participant-driven program operating in 19 schools in five Saskatchewan communities. By creating awareness of participation opportunities, the Dream Brokers team addresses challenges that kids in core neighbourhoods face that limit their access to extracurricular activities.

Our history
When youth are given the chance to participate in sport, culture and recreation activities, our communities become stronger and more inclusive. Through participation, youth connect with their community, make friends, learn important life skills and stay active.
Here’s just a sampling of what we’ve accomplished since 2006.

Our Network
“We’ve been working with the Dream Brokers program for about seven years and it is such a great relationship. We have become such a community that allows the kids to just be themselves and explore new skills. Just watching them build their confidence and try new things is so heartwarming. It is especially true for kids who may not be the most sports minded or active. It gives an opportunity to explore and learn an activity that creates something. I feel such a joy seeing how proud they are when they complete a project and get to show off their skills.”

“As a kid, my mom was my biggest supporter, she was also my soccer coach and I really don’t believe I would be where I am today, without the support that she gave me. Unfortunately, she passed away when I was 15, and soccer definitely helped me get through that tough time. That’s why I am here with KidSport and that’s why I think its extremely important for all kids to have access to sport.”
