Michael Rogers was nominated to the Board in 2020 by the Sport Medicine & Science Council of Saskatchewan and served as Vice Chair Lotteries in 2021-22. He was active in minor sports while growing up in Regina and is now focusing on coaching as his children’s involvement in sport grows.
He received his Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Regina and, previously worked as an investment analyst, and now serves as a grain trader. Working in the agriculture sector with constantly evolving outside forces allows him to be creative in adapting in a changing world. Rogers believes sport has a significant influence on preparing youth with skills that they can use later in life.
