Rogers was nominated to the Board in 2020 by the Sport Medicine & Science Council of Saskatchewan. He was active in minor sports while growing up in Regina, and is now focussing on coaching as his children’s involvement in sport grows.
He received his Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Regina and, after working as an investment analyst, has spent the last 12 years as a grain trader with Viterra. Working in the agriculture sector with constantly evolving outside forces allows him to be creative in adapting in a changing world. Rogers believes sport has a significant influence on preparing youth with skills that they can use later in life.
